RPSC ACP Exam Date: SUNDAY, 1st July 2012
It will be good if the exam is held on 1st July but why didn't rpsc publish this info in its website? Are they keeping the option open of changing the exam date again?
ReplyDeleteIts RPSC...lets hope ACP Exam date will not change anymore
DeleteHi Oasis,
DeleteHave you applied for ACP exam? How are you preparing for it? Please share.
@Any...We Didn't appear for ACP..One of out team mate appears but he is having only 3 Year. Experience in IT, So finally he is not eligible for ACP exam as per RPSC Notification that they got enough people with 5 year exp.
DeleteWhen I Applied it was 49 vacancies. When It became 66.???
ReplyDeleteThis is a mystery; RPSC announced the vacancies as 49 and never published any notice with addition/deletion of vacancies but many job portals say that the vacancies are 66 so I am baffled as well!!!!
Deletehiiii,
ReplyDeleteIs any body prep for ACP???
Is there any book for ACP???
ReplyDeleteHi, did anybody knows when will the result of rpsc programmer exam will be declared.
ReplyDeletewhat would be the cut-off of Programmer
ReplyDeleteany idea about pattern for ACP exam?
ReplyDeletePattern is mentioned in the notification (see both first notif and detailed one)
DeleteThanks for the reply about the pattern for ACP exam. BTW any idea about weightage of each subject in each paper probably based on the programmer's paper which is already over? For example how much weightage was given to GK, DI etc?
DeleteCan somebody who appeared for programmer's exam please share the details of the exam like standard of the paper, was it cake walk, moderate or difficult? how was the GK section? Was time sufficient to complete the paper? Were there glitches in the online examination? etc etc...
ReplyDeletePlease share all of your number who are planning to to going for this exam
ReplyDeleteWhat is yours?
Deletehi kiran i gone throug the programmer exam and preparing for ACP, the paper was too difficult means thrice the gate exam paper
DeleteHi kiran I am Vinod 9166125125 preparing for ACP exam. You can share all of your doubts.
DeleteI am planning to appear in this ACP exam but idont think so it will add any enhancement in carrier of a person who has 5+ yrs of exp in IT industry with BE & MBA.
ReplyDeleteRightly said... Any person who is having 5+ years of experience in IT industry earns more than double what ACP job offers
DeleteAs ACP you will get fix 20k for starting 2 yrs and after that 38k only. But in IT industry in 2 yrs a person will get 2 times apraisal and can get just double from current package.
ReplyDeleteAfter thinking all these things i am going to drop my idea to appear in this exam..
Me too (Y)
Deleteya , you right ,, i am also not appearing for the acp exam .. no power, no salary .. in this job
DeleteIt was looking lucrative job in start but now when we unfolds whole thing it’s not attractive any more for 5+ years Huge Experience Techies.
ReplyDeletePros:
1.Stable Govt JOb.
2.Social Reputation for Small Town Guys.(In Metros Govt job not a Buzz)
Cons:
1. Very less competitive remuneration.( Almost Half or more less)
2.Job will be under Ministry to maintain Govt Departments policies online, Update Govt Sites, Circulate polies in Tehsil, Districts, Development of application for New Govt Projects. Enforcements of IT Policies of Min of IT. Not Much Fun.
3. Posting will be in small districts mostly as Old guys are occupying metros like jpr, jdhpr etc.
Tough for Guys living in Big Cities.
4.The promotions and growth chances are very low as No Recruitment done in IT Cadre and No Standard policies has been made for IT Cadre. Its all like General Cadre which is not complimentary as well. ( You guys may see some emp retire on same post they joined :).
5. Earning Bread and Butter will be tough in 20K PM for 2 years for those who have families. I think mostly will have as we can assume 5+ yrs exp guys to be married.
This is as per My Information gathered by some Employees and as per my views.
I m agree with above guys and will be absent from exam center.
@Shaky, very true.. in first go it looks like a very nice job but when u see the things down the line its typically a govnt job with very limited promotions.. Moreover its not a 10-5 job too... so does not seem to be a good option for 5+ exp guy...
ReplyDeleteVery true, it is not going to be a very good option for a person who is already holding some TL or PL position in IT, because After getting 5+ yrs. of exp on IT , your package must be around 7-8 Lacs and it offers only 20K for first two years then around 40K .
ReplyDeletein addition to above comment, Also posting will be in any of rajasthan's remote area distict may be barmer/jaisalmer(~50 Temp normal)
DeleteWould like to add another points....
ReplyDelete1).Not sure when final result will be declared may be it will take another 1-2 years as this is happening normally in State Govt Jobs.
2).After 2 years even person will get 40K for the post of ACP ,it's not possible to survive even in small town if he is having family because of living expenses.
3).There is hardly increment of 4-5 % salary every year.
4).Nothing is clear what is working protocol in terms of timing and work load . May be it is again 12 hours job .
5).No clarity of Promotion may happen may not happen.
6).what make sure that they are gong to continue the person who joined as ACP after completing two years of probation period ... because this is totally Govt thing there are possibilities of Court Rit , Cases etc.
Better to work hard with current profile of private sector and get what we deserve.
i do agree with these 6 points ..... i am Not going to appear for this exam
ReplyDeleteI also think it is not wise to leave your private sector job in metro city for a job which offers much less and makes you stay in remote areas.
ReplyDeleteGovt. sectors cannot offer the perks/bonuses what private sectors offer.
The politics is prevailed in every govt office which would definitely make the life miserable specially for the ones who are used of working in pvt sectors.
No fair treatment from seniors.
You need to always show the non-existing respect to the seniors by calling Sirs etc. Not like working environment in pvt organizations where you even call the CEO by his/her first name
guys programmer exams contains around 30 question from current affairs, competitive success review ,network n DBMS questions were very easy, this time the paper will be descriptive and objective both.
ReplyDeleteIs the programmer exam was descriptive also?
DeleteBut on RPSC site syllabus section its clearlly mention its Objective Type Paper.
Please reply if paer was descriptive also, so we can raise it to RPSC
the job posting will be in jila tehsil where even u can hard to find rooms, shops, bus, even their is lot of problem of electricity in rajesthan, all districts post were acquired by seniors, so be prepare for it, even u can hardly find the mobile network their. in starting u can get 18000/- fixed but relax guys all 18000/- u can save because no electricity bill, rooms r almost free, no shops for shopping,no bill of mobile,no fare for bus.....ped ke niche ghatia pe aaram se jindagi gujregi.........u can take transfer but it needs 3 lakhs rupees, after few days of transfer somebody gives 3 lakhs n u will come on the same place again lol.....
ReplyDeleteagree with u
Deletewhy did you all applied if you knew about salary. who told you. only relatives should apply .......
ReplyDelete"only relatives should apply" .. what does it mean? whose relatives?
DeleteDon't get angry man/woman.
DeleteIndia is the biggest democracy in the world in terms of population!
Hope you are not a dumb and got your answer.
You must be RPSC person?
so guys how many candidates will be appearing for this post?
ReplyDelete2739 candidates are left for ACP after no experience relaxation
ReplyDelete1150 only not 2739 (vinod sharma)
Delete2739 candidates, got this figure from RPSC
Delete1440 are eligible for ACP exam!
DeleteOnly 1440 candidate are eligible for ACP exam
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteany result date for ACP exam and how many candidte appear in exam?
ReplyDeleteResult will be declared tomorrow, and around 900 candidates appeared in the exam.
ReplyDeleteany idea about cut off ?
ReplyDeleteR u sure it will declare tommrow???
ReplyDeleteNo man, be patient, it will take time...
DeleteKya dost mazak kerte hain...esse hi koi bhi date bol datie hoo
ReplyDeletecut off kitni jayegi ..?
ReplyDeleteany idea about result
ReplyDeleteDOst according to RPSC usme to 40% aggragte lika tha.
ReplyDeleteie 240 main se 96.
let see kya kerte hain vo
interview / speedtest bhi hoga kya ?
ReplyDeleteyeh to nahi pata.I hope hone chaiye..
ReplyDeletewthout interview kaise selection hoga.
speed test kya hain muze bhi nahi pata.
how send the issue in question to RPSC in question-147610 both A and D can be answer.
ReplyDeleteany Idea
40% would be the minimum qualifying marks. That means you have to secure at least 40%+, if you fall in general category and to get selected you have to be in the list of top 49 candidates.
DeleteNo interview or speed test is there, selection is purely based on the written test.
The answer of the question 147610 is only D, please google it.
DeleteGoogle per her chiz sahi ho koi quarnety hain...
ReplyDeleteas per my think row option.
1.if we thhink all image hain boundry expected cirle then -A
2.If check all image cut in middle then D
yaar without interview koi slection nahi hota hain.
it is impossible.
without confirmation kuch mat dala karo blog per.
Dear, it has been clearly mentioned given on the RPSC site, that the eligible candidates will be called to fill the forms related to their current employment and other details for further verification ....You can have a look at the Advertisement for the same!
ReplyDeleteRpsc process main
ReplyDelete1.Writeen
2.Verfication documents(Exp /Cast etc)
if you clear then call for interview.
same as asst proff.

ReplyDeletewhat is the expected merit cut off for analyst
ReplyDeleteI hope 37%
ReplyDeleteCUT OFF WILL BE GENERAL 50-55%
ReplyDeleteOBC 45-50%
SC/ST/FEM.40%
CALCULATE YOUR MARKS IF YOU WILL GETTING ABOVE 45%, ENSURE YOU WILL BE SELECTED.
Hello Vinod,
DeleteHow can you be so sure?
are dost 40% se jiske bhi jada hain sabko interview ka clear hain.interview hoga the final list
ReplyDeleteno one can predict about cut-off and further recruitment process.
ReplyDeleteCut-off would be 65%+ and 160 candidates will be called for interview..all teaching faculty will be optioned out so only 70 will be eligible among 49 will be selected....
ReplyDeleteTeaching faculty out ho tabhi chance hai
Deleteeska kya matlab hain...all teaching faculty will be optioned ot.so 70 will be eligible?
ReplyDelete160-90=70 means isme 90 log teaching ke hain.....jinhone farji experience leters lagaye hain..
ReplyDeletei think 55% should be enough
ReplyDeleteNo body can predict.
ReplyDeletePlease wait n watch.NIC ko bhi essa hi tha kerte-2 35 tak pooach gayi thi.
enjoy
I too think Max 60% is enough to clear the same...
ReplyDeleteaapke kitne ban rahe hain
Deletefrnd main 69+79 atempts kiye.I hope 25 may be wrong ie 47-48% only
ReplyDeleteany one share your percentage
ReplyDeleteI think cutoff may be 75%
Deleter u from teaching field.if u r working in compnay then it is impossible to done 70
Deletei m not from teaching field, that's y i say because teaching person can make..
DeleteCut off would be around 85%, came to know through internal sources!
Deleteya,it may be possible, teaching person can score
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
Deleteteaching ka experience valid nahi hai kya ?
ReplyDeleteNo.only pvt ltd/Ltd/and governemnt org
ReplyDeleteMahendra ji kabhi to kuch sahi likha karo.
ReplyDeleteSharma Ji aap bina baat ke dukhi kyo ho rahe ho? Everything is gonna be fine, So I urge you to just wait n watch... Chill maaro, sabhi ki taiyari ek jaisi hi hai...
Deletemaine to diya hi nahi..hehhehhehe
ReplyDeleteGuys...
ReplyDelete85% Can not be cutoff of such technicale Examaination it will be around 60 %. Also as per my knowladge interview call will be to non teaching persons. RPSC is not going to entertain Teaching Guys as ACP Post is Technicale thats the reason that they mentioned Industry Exp.So Teaching person please concentrate their lecturership exam.
Best Luck to all eligible candidats.
there is no interview call.because it's direct recruitment.
DeleteAll Industry guys,
ReplyDeleteWe will put RTI in rpsc that all teachers must be optioned out! then its possible to have our name in merit list....be prepare 4 that......
yes pari we have to write to RPSC and IT dept for this give me your contact no. on ashokbi1981@gmail.com so that we can plan accordinglly.
DeleteDear guys,
DeleteI meet a person at exam, who is working at IT Dept on contract basis,he say that it is direct recruitment & Teaching Exp. person will out in doc. verification time.so don't get disappointed.Anyway when result come?
Yeah...I am also ready for that..my no contact gkpboa@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteare badi baat yeh hain result aa kab raha hain.kya procedure hain.abhi tak rpsc ne kuch clear nahi kiya.Like as usual govt job......
ReplyDeletekoi notification nahi abhi tak result and answer sheet ka.
I Do agree ..Most of the people were from Teaching Field and and obviously they will score more in theory..Exam however this post is not for Writing PHD thesis or teaching in RPSC.
ReplyDeleteWe strongly should oppose the same...One guy i meet at time of exam he said i am having 6 Years of Exp. most of them is from Teaching i said will RPSC consider he said will get cretificate and teaching is also valid...at later stage with more discussion regarding my Core IT Career he statred asking very basic question how you guys work in industry and MOst funny Question is "How to prepare Web Site :)". I doubt What quallity will be produced from collage...
Any ways guys(From Core IT industry) please be togather and form and unioun that only eligible candiate should get the position...we should oppose the people those never Felt the heat of IT from Inside......
Please Start a New Blog with comman Email ID We will consolidate the thoughts and concerns will be raised with RPSC.
Happy jourany Long way to go...
Very nicely said!!!
Delete(2) 5 years’ post qualification work experience in System Designing, System Development, Programming in JAVA/Dot Net/VB/J2EE, System Management in a Government Organization/Government undertakings/Public Limited/Private Limited companies:
ReplyDeleteThis is what is mentioned in RPSC advertisement for ACP post. so teaching is not a valid experience but still we need to raise it with RPSC.
Yes, we guys need to be assemble in Jaipur at specified place and put RTI in RPSC....out of 1000 appeared, 700 are from teaching background. if they optioned out, we will have better control on situation....IT Guys will be serving State.....good for happy governance

ReplyDeletePlease do so..only relavent candidats should get the post. However Just FYI RPSC will takecare of everything.
My score is around 75 %
you are selected yaar, don't take tension.75 is good score after 5 years job
Deleteanswer confirm kar liye kya shrama ji kyonki exam dene ke bad sabhi ke 75% hi ban rahe the.
Delete75% to more than enough hain..main to socha raha tha sabka 40-50 k bich main hi hoga.
ReplyDeleteLets See..How RPSC Call the candidats..but Yes Cutoff will not be more then 50-55%.
ReplyDeleteWait for result...
i am agreed ..as far as i think , cut off would not go more than 55%. Result will take time. The exam of Programmer was held threemonths back..but it;s result is not declared as on now.

ReplyDeleteResult will be declared soon :)
ReplyDeleteabhi tak to answersheet nahi aayi.result ka se aa jayega.

Both results will be declared at the same time, and RPSC is one of the govt. institution, hence the delay is obvious in the process.
ReplyDeleteMahender sir aap esse hi guess lagate rehte hoo kya..?
ReplyDeleteHi guys many questions in both papers where wrong some have multiple opt and some where typo mistake. so please prepare a list of them since RPSC will ask us any errors in que papers after release the answere key. whithin 7 days we have to raise it. You are right Ashok, but it is understood, that it is Cost and Schedule instead of COST SCHEDULE.
DeleteSo I am not agree with both of you on the same!
guys small query ...
ReplyDeleteRPSC said those who scored 40% will be eligible for Interview in the first advertisement of ACP exam.
My query is 40% in each section separately like 40% in Paper 1 and 40% in Paper 2 .
OR
Aggregate 40% (including both paper marks) required for eligibility .
Anyone is having idea ?
40% in aggregate is minimum qualifying marks for General and OBC category.
DeleteSuppose only 10 candidates scores 40% or more, in that case only 10 candidates will be called for further process, and rest of the seats(General and OBC category) will remain vacant.
Aggregate 40% in both papers
ReplyDeletevsa / Pari can i have your number so we will legal documents for these question to RPSC ... who ever wants to file document to RPSC please revert ASAP ...

ReplyDeleteHowever there is issue with some questions..Any ways having small questions suppose 300 candidates qualify 40% aggregate threshlod mark then will RPSC call all for interview?
My Score is 148/240. I think i am having chance but still fingers crossed :).
