Rajasthan Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) www.examrtet.rajasthan.gov.in Exam 2013 will be held by Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE), Ajmer on 29th  December 2013 at various district across Rajasthan for those candidates who are looking forward to become teachers in lower primary and upper primary schools in Rajasthan state. 

RTET Level - I Exam ( Class I to V ) Held On 29/12/2013, Timing -11.00 AM to 1.30 PM. 
Qualification: Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure),Regulation, 2002.   OR   Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of
Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).  OR   Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Educaton).  OR   Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
RTET Level -II Exam (Class VI to VIII) Held On 29/12/2013, Timing – 2.00 PM to 4.30 PM. 
Qualification: Graduation and passed or appearing in final of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR  Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.  OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc.Ed. * Prime Minister Manmohan Singh left Frankfurt on Tuesday after an overnight halt while returning home after concluding his visit to the US. Dr. Singh was in America where he held talks with US President Barack Obama and met his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif for the first time, besides addressing the UN General Assembly. The Prime Minister reached Washington on September 26 and held talks with Obama the next day during which they decided to expand ties in various areas including defense, energy and trade. "We believe that if there's a strong India, that's good for the world, and it's ultimately good for the US," Obama had said in a joint appearance with Dr. Singh. 

* Rajya Sabha member and Congress leader, Rasheed Masood, was sentenced to four years in jail by a Delhi court in a corruption case, becoming the first MP to lose his seat after a recent Supreme Court judgement had removed the immunity for convicted lawmakers.

* Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde on Monday directed all states to ensure that no innocent Muslim youth is wrongfully detained in the name of terror. Shinde's directive in a letter to the Chief Ministers was condemned by the Opposition as "votebank politics" with BJP alleging it was done keeping the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in mind.
