The constructions along the Lalbakeya, Bagmati and Kamla rivers in southern Nepal are being undertaken in accordance with the decisions taken by the India-Nepal Joint Committee on Inundation and Flood Management. * Assam Pavilion was adjudged “First for Excellence in display amongst State Governments and Union Territory Pavilions” and was given the award of Gold Medal in the India International Trade Fair 2013 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
* BJP gets full majority by winning 162 Seats in Rajasthan Assembly Election 2013.
* A remote region in East Antarctica has set a new record for the coldest place on Earth, with temperatures dipping to a bone-chilling -93.2 degrees Celsius.
